Recipe For Delicious Chicken And Rice

    People always say chicken rice is bland because everyone thinks seasoning will take away the nutritional value or something. That is not true at all; all it does is just make it taste better. People don't even season rice because not too many people see rice as something to season with oil. You have to season everything in this recipe to make it taste better. 


Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Rice 

  • ¾ cup Water 

  • Dash’s Onion and Herb Blend 

  • Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning

  • Lime and chili olive oil (I prefer Galena Garlic Company)

  • Large chicken breast 

Steps


  1. Dice and season your chicken. 

  2. Put the rice and water in a pot.

  3. Put the pot on the stove, turn it on high, and put a lid on it.

  4. Wait until your water boils then turn it to low.

  5. Let simmer for 7 1/2 minutes, stirring halfway through.

  6. Heat another pan while the rice is cooking, then add olive oil to the pan.

  7. Put the seasoned chicken in the oil pan and let cook it until it is at 165 °F.

  8. Once the rice is done, put seasoning in it, put the lid back on, and let the flavor incorporate for 3 minutes or longer.

  9. Once the chicken is cooked, you can fluff the rice and plate it. Enjoy!
