Thanksgiving Sweet Potato Casserole

My favorite Thanksgiving recipe is sweet potato casserole. My mom makes them every year around Thanksgiving.


  • 4-6 potatoes

  • ½ C Heavy cream

  • ¼ C Brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon

  • ¼ tsbp Nutmeg

  • 1/2Sweet cream butter

  • Salt


  • Marshmallows

  • Pecan crumble


  • Boil potatoes until fork tender (leave skin on)

  • Allow to cool before removing skin

  • Put into a large bowl

  • Add a pinch of salt

  • Add all other ingredients of your liking

  • Potatoes should be smooth but not runny

  • Top with mini marshmallows or pecan crumble using chopped pecans, cold butter and brown sugar

  • Bake on 350 for 30 minutes

  • Allow to rest (10 minutes) before serving
