   Southern Grit was a remarkable experience! It’s located in the Old City Downtown in Knoxville, Tennessee. They offer various Southern dishes, including fried chicken, burgers, salads, shrimp and grits, and more. The service was excellent, and the food was great. I ordered a medium Nashville Hot Chicken Club, which had Havarti, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise with a side of fries. Everything there is homemade, including the sauces. If you want a good burger, they have you covered. They’re always cooked perfectly as requested and have unique setups for the burgers. They serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, which is also outstanding. There are sweet and salty options depending on how you're feeling that morning. It can be busy sometimes, but it's totally worth it. If you’re in the downtown Knoxville area, I highly suggest checking this place out. The prices are reasonable, and everyone is so kind and welcoming.
