New Academy Sports + Outdoors Location

       On Clinton Highway, right next to the Hobby Lobby, a new Academy Sports is coming up. For the people who don't know what they'll provide and why they might be building a new location near Powell, for starters, an example as a point of reference of a competitor much like them is Dick's Sporting Goods. I've looked, and their catalog of supplies is around the same, although one of the biggest differences is Academy Sports & Outdoors firearms, but this will also provide a lot of convenience because many people around here would have had to go to Kingston Pike if they wanted anything to do with sports supplies. That is most likely one of the major reasons they have decided to build a new location out near Powell, especially due to the population boom around Knoxville. And for example, for people who want to go camping in Anderson County but don't want to drive too far all the way to west town mall. There has been a big population bomb. Most of the students around Powell high school have thought the Academy would be a positive new addition to crown point plaza, mostly due to the fact that it will be a good way to get a new job.
