Costume Ideas! (Quick fix edition)

For the poor, indecisive souls of Powell High School, this article will serve as a last resort for costumes for different-sized groups or just going solo. These will be the majority of media-related costumes, but of course, you can ask others or go online for more personalized costumes.

Costumes for one person could be a black cat, bugs (ladybug, bumblebee, ect), an alien, Pyramid Head, Wednesday, Jigsaw, Bob Ross, a ghost, Jack-o-lantern, Beetlejuice, a devil, Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Carmen Sandiego, Where's Waldo, a carebear, a superhero like Invincible or Spiderman, Bart Simpson, or a western cowboy.

Duo costumes for two people are often iconic characters from media, matching ideas, jokes, or couple costumes. Flappers from the roaring 20s, matching royalty (princess, queen, king, prince…), SpongeBob and Patrick, both Ghostface killers (or even add a victim for 3 people), and finally the Headless Horseman and his horse.

Trios! Costumes for three most often work well for notable trios in real life or fiction, such as: three of the Founding Fathers, Men in Black, the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus, Mario characters, rock-paper-scissors, Powerpuff Girls, and three slashers (Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, the girl from The Grudge, etc.)

Four or more in a group? Group costume ideas can come from TV shows or comics such as Teen Titans, the Fantastic Four, Batman and all his robins, Shrek characters, Ghostbusters, witches, Stranger Things cast, The Addams Family, Toy Story characters, The Magic School Bus class, Rugrats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the Power Rangers.

I hope you didn’t have to resort to the newspaper for an extremely last-minute costume, but if you did, we hope this helps. Good luck and have a happy Halloween!
