Celeste Hernandez Murder Case (what we know so far)

Celeste Hernandez, a young girl from California, who went missing in April of 2024, was found in "D4vd's” the singer songwriter's car on September 8, 2025. With that, there is a lot we need to know beforehand here. First, she had many problems at home. Her ex-boyfriend and neighbors have stated multiple times that she had a troubled relationship with her mother. She had a number of times where she had run away from home, 11 times in the year leading up to her disappearance.
The relationship with D4vd is closely connected by the matching tattoos they had on their finger of "Shhhh". Celeste's former teacher said he knew about Celeste talking about getting into a relationship with a rapper from LA. More of a speculative piece of evidence is in David's music video for "romantic homicide". There is a girl in that music video who resembles Celeste. There is also a scene in that video that portrays a body being dumped in a car. Some people portray this as evidence for David's involvement with the murder
D4vd´s involvement with Celeste was somewhat involved before the incident. He did say he was seeing someone whose name was Celeste, But never went into detail who she was. The matching tattoo is a more official meaning that this was the Celeste that he was talking about. Although it has not yet been officially confirmed whether the relationship was romantic or not. D4vd has been fully cooperating with the police up to this point, but for his online presents on Reddit and discord he has deleted any mention of Celeste or the case. As of now he has left both of those communities all together essentially leaving them leaderless. The moderators on Reddit and discord themselves have said they never heard about Celeste until this point.
The case is still ongoing with a lot of theories and other assumptions made on this case, a lot of people have already assumed that D4vd is the murderer or on the other hand a lot of people are saying he could be framed. Since this case has reached international significance there will be a lot of questions and assumptions But there is not enough hard evidence to make any arrests at this moment
