Casa Brava Restaurant Review

By Alyse Troyer

Recently, my family and I went to Casa Brava for my mom’s birthday. I didn’t know what I was gonna order, but when I looked at the menu I realized they had chicken tortilla soup for $7.99, and I immediately knew I wanted it. It was a good decision; this was the best chicken tortilla soup I’ve ever had, and it came from a place that doesn’t even specialize in soups. It was very well seasoned, and the purple onions, green peppers, and orange broth created a beautiful contrast and made this soup a literal work of art. They also fried the tortillas, so they stayed crunchy for a long time. I was amazed at how big of a bowl they gave me, and it took me two days to eat it because of how much soup there was. Overall, I love this restaurant, especially its chicken tortilla soup, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Mexican food or soup.
