865 Academies Should Have Uniforms

    We’re starting the 865 Academy next year. I can’t think of a better time to go all out and require school uniforms. Uniforms will make our school environment look nicer and more prestigious, which in turn will lead to other schools respecting us more. Uniforms will also make those who struggle financially less noticeable, which would significantly stop bullying and allow everyone to be treated the same. It would also give students more time to study because a lot of girls usually spend quite a bit of time trying to pick out an outfit for school the next day. 

    Another advantage is that it prepares students for jobs that require business attire, so if they want a professional job, they would already be used to wearing the proper attire. My culminating reason why I think our school should have uniforms is because it would greatly decrease the amount of people getting sent to the office for being out of dress code, ultimately decreasing suspensions, and RCL days, and lowering the stress on our principals and staff. After all is said, this would improve our school environment and create a better school for our students in general.
