There is a handful of horror movies coming out in 2019. Many seem very interesting, while others seem kind of stupid. Some movies coming out in these next few months are “Us”, “Pet Sematary”, “Happy Death Day 2U”, and, “The Curse of La Llorona”.
“Us”, directed by Jordan Peele, is about a family taking their kids to a beach house. Thinking that they will have a nice vacation in paradise, some “unwanted visitors” arrive. “Us” will be released on March 21st.
“Pet Sematary”, directed by Kevin Kölsch and based off the Stephen King novel, is about the Creeds moving into a nice home located next to an eerie ‘pet sematary’. After their cat gets run over by a truck, , Louis decides to bury their cat in the pet sematary, which is definitely not as it seems. This movie shows that the Creeds, and the audience, that sometimes, dead is better. “Pet Sematary”, will be released on April 5th.
“Happy Death Day 2U”, directed by Christopher Landon, is part two of “Happy Death Day”, which is about a girl getting murdered on her birthday over and over, and the only way to stop it is to catch her killer. “Happy Death Day 2U” will be released on February 13th.
“The Curse of La Llorona”, directed by Michael Chaves, is about the legendary ghost La Llorona stalking the night, and all the children as well. Ignoring the warning of a troubled mother, a social worker and her children are drawn into a frightening supernatural realm. The only person to fight off La Llorona is a disillusioned priest who practices mysticism to keep evil at bay. “The Curse of La Llorona” will be released on April 19th.
Other movies, who's release dates have not been revealed, that people are excited to see are, “It: Chapter Two”, “Child’s Play”, “The New Mutants”, and “3 from Hell”.
