Sarah Paulson Confirms AHS Return

By Ann Friend

On January 9th, it was reported that Sarah Paulson would be returning to American Horror Story this upcoming season. Many AHS fans were disappointed to learn that Sarah Paulson would not be in season 9 of American Horror Story, “1989.” During the Television Critics Association Press Tour, she was asked if she would be making a return appearance when she dropped the news. She then said that she had asked Ryan Murphy, the writer and producer, if she was able to share that she would be returning, and he was completely fine with it. She then went on to say that she wouldn’t be a “regular”, but a central character for the season. We haven’t gotten any clues about what season 10 might actually be about, but Murphy has stated before that “the witches” (the witches from season 3 Coven) would be making a return in the future. Fans are also asking whether or not Evan Peters would be making a comeback appearance as well. Peters hasn’t confirmed whether or not he would be making a comeback in the future as well, “It’s just exhausting. It’s really mentally draining, and you don’t want to go to those places every in your life…” Peters goes on to say that even though he isn’t planning on returning at the moment, he will “never say never” to returning to AHS.
