PLAYOFFS ROUND 1: PANTHER FACE OFF

The Powell Panthers faced off with the Lenoir City Panthers this past Friday night ending in a 60-14 blowout. At the end of the 1st quarter Powell had already begun making a statement by putting 30 up on the board. At the half, PHS topped out at 60 and LCHS fought to put just 7 on the board. The score remained at 60-7 through the third. The LCHS Panthers were able to put up 7 more to end the matchup 60-14.

In their next game, the Powell Panthers will go head to head with the Rhea County Golden Eagles, on Friday, November 15. Powell will attempt to advance its 11-0 season record. The Golden Eagles will enter the game with a 9-2 record after their 47-14 non-league win over Fulton.
