On December 17th, the PHS Choral Department will hold its annual Christmas Concert. The audience will be hearing classic holiday favorites, such as White Christmas, Let it Snow, Mr. Grinch, and more. Of course, there will also be various traditional choral songs; however, these pieces will prove to be just as lovely and uplifting in this Christmas season. The wide variety of song selection makes this concert perfect for all ages, giving families the opportunity to enjoy the spirit of Christmas together. The concert will feature entertaining quartets such as a Frog On a Fish Hook, the Harmonizing Honeys, and the Tree Rockers as well as the following choirs: Girls and Boys Chorus, Concert Choir, and Singers.
Outside of the Christmas Concert next Tuesday, Singers can be found performing throughout the Powell Community spreading tidings of joy through songs and celebration. They will be performing at several churches and were requested to provide festive entertainment at other events. The group will also be performing at several elementary schools in hopes of inspiring the love for music.
