18 year old mother, Megan Boswell, of missing toddler Evelyn Boswell was arrested due to charges involving the missing child’s case. Megan faces one count of making false reports and is in Sullivan County Jail on a $25,000 bond. Megan had provided detectives with conflicting statements and the investigation has revealed that some of the information was false.
A pond in Wilkes County, North Carolina was searched in connection to the case. “All tips have to be checked out just to make sure.” says Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Spokeswoman Leslie Earhart. She also adds that “investigators have not confirmed whether Evelyn was taken across state lines.”
