Today at PHS we had our very first in-school trick-or-treat where our very own loved and dedicated teachers showed up early on a “late start Wednesday” to prepare themselves for the mass of students wanting candy. While some students took advantage of the opportunity to dress up; others took advantage of the chance to get free candy from of teachers. Compared to many of the other school events, a large number of students participated, costume or not, especially considering it was a late start day. Many students that were dressed up didn’t participate in the trick-or-treat at all, they simply just wanted to be able to dress up for Halloween at school. Considering how little students and teachers participated in Spirit Week, this could be considered a huge success for the school as a whole since the students and teachers alike participated.
